The Downland area of the world now lies under a veil of darkness as the land is plagued by monsters and evil. It is up to you to find your way through the darkness, the dangers and the creatures of the land. You can start your adventure as a brave adventurer fighting against the evil and monsters that have taken over the land. Or you can start your adventure as a fearless paladin, bringing light and hope to the land. Whichever you choose, you have the same goal: you want to restore the land to its former glory. You are the hero. Which hero you are depends on your choices. Let's start by choosing a hero first. Your hero can be a brave adventurer, a fearless paladin, or a powerful wizard. The character you choose will impact how things play out in your adventure. The game is a series of missions. Your hero has the ability to enter battle and fight monsters and evil. As you fight and explore the world of Terria, you gather experience, level up, and gain new abilities. You will also gain treasure, items, and magic that you can use to upgrade your character. This is the first mission you embark on. You have the ability to move left and right, and you can walk, jump, or fly to different points in the world. You also have a number of abilities that you can use to help you in combat. These are your spells. You can use any of the three spell books that are available early in the game to cast a spell. In addition, you also have the tools of a wizard. You may be able to use a wand or a staff to cast a spell. You also will have a number of other items that you can use to enhance your spells. To cast a spell, first you must choose which spell to use from one of your three spell books. Then, click on a spell in your book to cast it. This will be your only spell to cast during the game. Spells can be upgraded by using the potions, scrolls, and wands that you find or purchase as you explore the world. To use a potion of a more potent type than what that you have currently in your inventory, click on it. To use a scroll, click on it. To use a wand, click on it. The world of Downlands is a vast and diverse landscape. There are many different biomes, each with its own unique environment. In addition to the normal grassland and wooded areas, there are also areas of swamp and desert. In this guide, you will only be using two of the three biomes, the grassland and the wooded. To move between biomes, you must move to the next biome using the buttons on the bottom of your screen. |
